As the autumn leaves swirl and the aroma of woodsmoke and holiday feasts fills the air, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude.

We are incredibly thankful for our guests—both new friends and returning visitors—who choose to share their special moments and create cherished memories within the peaceful embrace of our woods and in our cozy caboose respit.

This Thanksgiving, let us pause to reflect on the silent beauty that surrounds us. We are especially grateful for the profound gift of Mother Nature. The towering trees, the quiet paths, and the fresh mountain air offer a constant reminder of the simple, sustaining gifts of the natural world. And we're especially grateful for special spots like Claudia's Caboose, where many of those memories are made!

As the great naturalist John Muir once said:

"In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks."
